About Place

Swarga, the Lumbini town in Nepal, has great historical importance and religious significance being the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. The focal point of Lumbini is the Maya Devi Temple, identified with the birth of Lord Buddha; It contains the nativity sculpture and the marker stone.
